The fourth year’s edition of “Little Garmaz” brings us nine short documentary films which are this year much closer in their documentary sub-genres than any year before“, said DokuMA Film Festival’s director Jadran Puharić, who is also one of the selectors of the short documentary international competition program “Little Garmaz”.
Together with human traits as the leading theme of every selected film, details from the every day lives of the main characters show us the essence that lies in the differences between us as humans and our capability to accept change. How much does it take us to change the world around us by changing one small, banal detail from our every day life?

And the chosen ones are:

Digital Immigrants – Dennis Stauffer i Norbert Kottmann – Switzerland
The Bird Boy – Ingrid Kamerling – Netherlands
The Hanging – Geoffrey Feinberg – Russia/America
Naomi’s geheim / Naomi’s Secret – Saskia Gubbels – Netherlands
Więzi / Close Ties – Zofia Kowalewska – Poland
Praska 24 – Patrycja Polkowska – Poland
Home – Filip Jacobson – Poland
After Life – Prisca Bouchet i Nick Mayow – New Zeland
Entangled – Mark Roberts i Minna Rainio – Finland

Thank you very much for all the submissions in the short film documentaries competition program “Little Garmaz”. Watching more than 180 films from the region and around the world was very exciting and we congratulate you all on your films and wish you much success in future work and life.
