We’re proud to announce that two documentary films produced by Dokuma CA were accepted in the main competition program at the 25th edition of Days of Croatian Film, that will be held April 21st-24th 2016 in Zagreb, Croatia.
Two short documentaries “British in Makarska” (Britanci u Makarskoj, 2015, 7′) and “The Last of the Gulls” (Poslednji galebovi, 2015, 6′) were produced as a part of our workshop at the Dokuma CrossBorder 2015 program, whose partners and sponsors were ADU Zagreb, FDU Skoplje, Cinema Club Split, FDU Belgrade, Rose Art Ružić, Studio Makar, Antitalent Production and Makarska Hotels. Igor Bezinović, Aleš Suk (FAMU Prag, Taste CA Rijeka) and Dragutin Ćirković (FDU Belgrade) were the mentors with Karla Carević, Sandra Bastašić and Jadran Puharić as the organizers.
“British in Makarska”, a portrait of the British married couple Helen and Henry Mildenhall who live under the mount Biokovo, is a film created by the international film student crew of Ivan Čojbašić (FDU Cetinje), Klemen Kraševac (AGRFT Ljubljana), Gorjan Atanasov (FDU Skoplje) and Jovan Vučur (FDU Belgrade) with Ivanka Šuta as the researcher. “The Last of the Gulls” was filmed in the legendary “Arbun” tavern by the crew of Nemanja Lakić (FDU Cetinje), Petar Perunović (AGRFT Ljubljana), Sandra Gjorgieva (FDU Skoplje), Sanja Đuričić (FDU Belgrade) and Danica Vujošević (FDU Belgrade).
